2 Configuration

Therearealargenumberofconfigurationparameters(butnotall)thatmaybesetusingthewebpageinterfacefortheMP‐

104.Therecommended(andeasier)approachistodownloadfilestotheunit.ThesefilesareprovidedbyAudioCodeswithone

replacementfileprovidedbyObjectworldCommunicationsCorp.toconfigurethegatewayforUCServer.Thesepagesare

downloadedtotheunitfromthewebpageasdescribedinsubsequentsections.

2.1 CorrelatePCandMP‐104IPAddressesandSubnetMask

IngeneraltheprocedureoutlinedinSection3.1of“LTRT‐61402MP‐1xxFastTrackInstallationGuideVer4.21.pdf”shouldbe

followed.

ThedefaultusernameandpasswordfortheMP‐104isadmin/admin.TheIPaddressandsubnetmaskoftheMP‐104mustbe

setsothatitiscompatiblewiththeLANattheinstallationsite.TheMP‐104mustbeallocatedanIPaddressthatdoesnot

change.TheabovestepwillassignitastaticIPaddress.AnalternatemethodistouseapseudostaticIPaddressbyenabling

DHCPontheMP‐104andmappingtheMACaddressofthegatewaytoanIPaddresswithintheDHCPserver.

2.2 .INIFile

ThefileMP‐104UCServer.iniprovidedbyObjectworldisatemplatetobeusedforconfiguration.Thefirststageistomodify

keyfieldsinthefilespecifictoyourinstallationandthendownloadittothegatewayunit.

2.2.1 FieldModification

Useanytexteditortomodifythefieldsgivenbelowinthe.INIfileandsavethenewfileonacomputer.ForreferenceAppendix

EnableSyslog:0ifthereisnointentionofusingthesyslogfunction.


